Review of conrads, Nottingham
'Conrads' Nottingham's premier Lap dancing venue is conveniently located in the city centre with in easy reach of the key bars and restaurants. Since opening in the millennium the club has become a popular choice for the gentlemen, and boasts some of the most beautiful ladies on the lap dancing circuit. The club has recently become open to 'non members' from Thursday until Saturday from 7pm till 2am. Podium dancing is performed throughout the night, or if you prefer the more personal touch you can have your own private dance for £10/£20 fully nude. Entrance to the Club is £10. For the Stag/Hen nights Conrads have other venues to participate as part of a package deal including an authentic Thai meal at Bar Humbug, a pamper day at our city centre spa or the unique dinning and theatrical experience of a medieval banquet at the 'Tales of Robin Hood'. Commencing December 2005 Conrads will be open upstairs in its exotically refurbished area for the Ladies. The most prestigious of male dancers will be lap dancing and performing throughout the evenings on a Friday and Saturday from 7pm until 2pm. Conrads are also running pole dancing lessons for the ladies during the weekends; these classes are run by qualified fitness instructors with experience of the Lap dancing industry, an absolute 'must' for any type of 'girl's party'! The cost is £25 for a two hour lesson including bubbly! For the larger parties, male strippers can be arranged to perform a 30 minute show and lap dance for those who are brave enough to try!

Rescue Rooms
Kind of a three trick pony this one – bar, live venue and club all in one. It's brought to Nottingham by the people behind Rock City – and if anyone knows how to go about running a gig venue, these chaps do. The 500 capacity bridges the gap between bigger and smaller venues in Notti Read more about Rescue Rooms
Rock City
Buff up that medallion and grease down those leather pants – it's time to rock. Irrefutably one of the best rock clubs in the country, this huge venue is regularly packed to the rafters with rock chicks and cock-rock love gods. While the main room looks like a Spinal Tap convention, the s Read more about Rock City
The Chameleon
By day, a little tea room above Clinton Cards; by night, an explosive music venue. When the Chameleon comes out to play, the curtains of the thirty-odd capacity room remain firmly closed, and while high ceilings lend an air of faded grandeur, general grime overrides. Broken sofas and a 'stage Read more about The Chameleon

The Irish Centre
The Irish isn't going to win any style awards. Looking somewhere between a run down parish church hall and a working men's club, there are precarious-looking seats around the outside, presumably to collapse onto when you've finished dancing on the tables in the middle. Your co-dancers... Read more about The Irish Centre
The Irish Centre
A dress code that clearly stipulates pants must be worn on head and trousers around ankles is usually confirmation of student club status. Whilst impromptu full monties are actually a rarity, the kind of high jinks usualll associated with partying students is commonplace here, and that means shambol... Read more about The Irish Centre
The Irish Centre
The Irish as it's more commonly called is not trendy, clean, cheap or even particularly easy to find. Despite this, it's well worth grabbing your map and compass and venturing to the dark side of the Broad Marsh area to see just how silly you can get when surrounded by others... Faces
I don't actually own a copy, so I couldn't tell you on which mage of the PFA players handbook it states that upon visiting Nottingham all professional footballers must converge in Faces nightclub, but it's definitely in there. Faces
Faces hasn't made an appearance in GoOutIn for a few years now. In fact we hadn't heard of anyone going there for so long, we'd assumed it had closed. Once the lair of footballers, this place has lost a little of its magic. Looking as if it hasn't had a revamp since the 90s, the pl... Read more about Faces
Jumpin' Jak's
This place is a dream for hen and stag parties. Yes, it's cheesy; yes, it's full of sleazy blokes in those short-sleeved, buttoned-up shirts with the wet-look hair gel, but it's also the most unpretentious club you could go to in the city. Self-knowledge, after all, is a liberating th... Read more about Jumpin' Jak's
Jumpin' Jak's
The term 'guilty pleasure' was invented for this joint. Alright, it's so crammed full of hens and stags on Fridays that it's a wonder that they don't sell hangover rescue packs, cucumber eye coolers and a guaranteed 'get me to the church on time' service on the doo... Read more about Jumpin' Jak's
Cookie Club
Apparently they were a bit upset about the review we gave their club last year, but like we told them, every GoOutIn visit is a clean slate. The music policy is 'classic' which means on Saturdays at least, the main room is every indie kid's dream. Blur and Oasis rule the roost at the Co... Read more about Cookie Club
